A pony-tailed pervert demanded sex from a 19-year-old woman in a Bronx apartment building, then attacked her when she ignored him and walked away, police said Friday.
The victim was waiting for an elevator inside a building near Aqueduct Ave. and W. 190th St. in Fordham Manor at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday when the man walked past her, then came back and started chatting her up.
The victim told police that the pervert, believed to be a Hispanic man in his early 30s, treated her like as if she were a prostitute and offered to pay her for sex.
The young woman flatly refused, but the man then began to threaten her, claiming that he would kill her if she called 911, police said.
She raced out of the building, but the goon grabbed her hair and started choking her, police said. The suspect ultimately ran off.
The young woman was not seriously hurt.
Cops recovered surveillance video from the building that showed the confrontation.
The suspect is believed to be about 5-foot-8-inches tall and about 200 pounds.
At the time of the attack he was wearing a black, short-sleeved shirt, black jeans and sneakers.
