Chris Brown announces split from Rihanna

Chris Brown has confirmed he and Rihanna have called time on their rekindled relationship.
The Don’t Wake Me Up singer made the shock revelation yesterday during an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106, who shared snippets of their chat on Twitter.
Announcing the split, the hip hop station posted: ‘”Are you still w/ @Rihanna?” @ChrisBrown: “Uh,no-that’s the short answer” just now to @BigBoy POWER 106 LA @TuneIn’
As fans struggled to accept the news, the station confirmed Chris’ fateful words were genuine, stating: ‘We wouldn’t have tweeted it if it wasn’t true.’
And it would appear Rihanna has not taken the decision to call things off too kindly after she tweeted on Tuesday: ‘Joke’s on you.’
Chris, 23, also hinted at the reason behind his vicious attack on the Barbadian songbird back in 2009.
‘When I was around 19 I went through a bit of depression… it is kinda hard when people not liking u’- @ChrisBrown,’ he said.
The US chart-topper also suggested the animosity between he and RiRi’s good friend Drake is still ongoing after admitting he would not dance to Drake’s music if it came on in a club.

Chris and 25-year-old Rihanna were thought to be planning on getting hitched on a beach this summer.
The Diamonds hitmaker was said to be planning on ditching the traditional wedding dress in favour of a bikini.
