Kaizer Chiefs have won the Q-Innovation – third quarter award following their 1-1 draw against Maritzburg United on Wednesday night.
The Amakhosi also won the inaugural Q-Innovation award, with Platinum Stars having been tops in the second quarter.
While all the games have not yet been played in this quarter – Orlando Pirates vs Ajax Cape Town was postponed – neither of the teams can catch Chiefs at the top.
Moroka Swallows finished second, highlighting their turnaround in fortunes since the end of last year when Zeca Marques’ job was in danger, while AmaZulu, who were in the relegation zone just a few weeks ago, finished fifth.
Orlando Pirates could still finish third should they win their game in hand against Ajax.
SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits were third and fourth respectively, while at the other end of the table Chippa United again picked up the wooden spoon award, followed closely by fellow strugglers Black Leopards and Ajax.
