Self-proclaimed traditional healer Amos Saranavo, 56 is claiming US$600 plus interest from Zifa provincial chairman Wellington Muchemwa.
Saravano claims that he gave Muchemwa some herbs to help the now defunct Masvingo-based Division One outfit Setheo Football Club to win a soccer match.
Mr Saranavo who is being represented by a prominent Masvingo lawyer claims that he is a duly registered traditional healer who practises at his house in Mucheke suburb, Zimbabwe.
He claims that some time in April 2012, he was approached by Muchemwa on behalf of Setheo seeking his help to win a Division One fixture.
The traditional healer claims to be an expert in providing herbs that help football clubs win matches.
He further contends that he was never given the money by Muchemwa though he claims Setheo won the match after he provided the herbs.
In his defence, Muchemwa, who has no legal representation, wrote a request for Saranavo’s details demanding to know where he consulted the self-styled traditional healer.
He also demanded to know the exact time he met the traditional healer.
