Woman demand maintenance for her unborn child

A pregnant Harare woman has taken her hubby to court seeking MAINTENANCE for an unborn child claiming that the man is not taking care of the living kid and her.
Natasha Tasiyana dragged Prosper Murefu to a civil court in Harare and sought insurance for her unborn child.
Tasiyana told the court, “I want $300 per month for our minor child and the one on the way. He is not looking after me and is even caring that I am pregnant.
“I tried to explain to him before and I approached the court after I realised that he is not even worried,” she told the court.
Magistrate Miriam Banda said, “You cannot claim maintenance for an unborn child and we therefore exclude that and deal with the other child,” said Banda.
Murefu told the court the he only earns $374 per month and cannot afford $300 maintenance.
Banda said he can pay only $90 per month.
