A young woman allegedly stripped to lure her ex-boyfriend's brother into her bedroom so her new flame could stab him to death, Chicago prosecutors said Sunday.
Daisy Gutierrez, 19, got her father, Salvador Gutierrez, 56, to help hide the body in his back yard, according to investigators.
She dismembered the body and buried them in holes dug by her dad, police said.
Daisy Gutierrez and her boyfriend reportedly fled to New Jersey the next day.
Police found the remains of Jose Reyes, 30, on the Gutierrez's property on the Southwest Side of Chicago on Friday while executing a search warrant, reported DNAinfo Chiago.
The woman was charged with first degree murder and her father was charged with concealing a homicide in the May 21 death, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department.
Both admitted to their role in the murder and subsequent cover-up, said Assistant State Attorney Heather Kent.
The man suspected of actually murdering Reyes has not yet been arrested.
Daisy Gutierrez's bond was set at $2 million and her father's was set at $500,000 Sunday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Kent said that Daisy Gutierrez had two children with Reyes' brother.
The murder plot, she said, may have stemmed from the new boyfriend's insecurity over Reyes' attraction to Gutierrez.
Reyes moved to Chicago from Honduras about five years ago, his family said.
