Nelisiwe Ngubane (36) from Spruitview, Ekurhuleni, SA, says her stomach has become so big and heavy that she has to use a walking stick to get around.
She also uses an enema when she goes to the toilet.
Nelisiwe said it feels as if her stomach is getting so big that it is going to drag on the floor soon.
"My life has changed completely," she said.
She said the doctors have told her to lose weight before they can operate.
Nelisiwe said exercising is not an option because she struggling to walk.
Her problems started when she gave birth by Caesarean section at Grey's Hospital in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.
The birth was a success, but soon her stomach started getting bigger and bigger and she doesn't know when it will stop.
Nelisiwe's sister, Fikile Makgoa (38), said she wants Nelisiwe to get her life back.
"I want my sister to be able to stand up and take care of herself and do the things she used to do before," she said.
"The hospital should compensate her for her pain and suffering."
The public relations officer at Grey's Hospital, Zamo Mntungwa, said the hospital will engage with Nelisiwe.
He said she should come back to the hospital for reassessment and they will see how they can help her.
Sangoma Mandla Mnqwazi said when this strange stomach growth happens, it causes severe stomach pains and cramps.
Mnqwazi said: "It is usually caused by muthi mixed with a lizard's brain. But if it is not painful, then it is the doctor's fault."
