Thomas Zvapangana, 19, will appear before the Mutare High Court circuit on Monday to answer to allegations of murdering his employer’s daughter last year.
Zvapangana was incarcerated for allegedly brutally killing Taremeredzwa Marere on the 21st of July 2012 in Open Fern Valley in Mutare.
According to state papers, Zvapangana attacked the deceased grabbing her by the neck.
He then attempted to bite her tongue before stabbing her with a kitchen knife on the neck while she lay powerless on the floor.
He allegedly pulled her into a toilet where he placed her head in the chamber before striking her three times with a ceramic cistern lid at the back of her head.
Strangely, Zvapangana went on to suck blood from the deceased.
He then proceeded to ransack his employers’ house, making off with a plasma TV set, a lap top, a DVD player and a digital camera.
The deceased’s body was discovered by her mother Clara Mukowe and her neighbour.
