Dereck Chisora has been told he needs to see a therapist by European heavyweight title challenger Edmund Gerber ahead of this month's clash at the Copper Box Arena in London.
The big-hitting German has sparked a war of words with Chisora bringing up the Finchley fighter's well-publicised incidents with the Klitschko brothers and has promised to cure him in the ring with his fists.
Chisora upset Gerber, who has knocked out 14 out of 24 opponents, when he said he was going to smash him up to earn a second world title shot, either a rematch against WBC Champion Vitali or a showdown with WBA Super/IBF/WBO king Wladimir.
'Ever since he slapped Vitali Klitschko and spit water on his brother Wladimir before he fought for the world championship, everybody knew that he has some serious problems with his head,' said Gerber.
'I heard that he had to go to anger management classes but with his latest comments regarding our fight it seems that he still has the attitude of an anti-social man.
'Maybe I can resocialise him when we fight. I will be glad to serve as his therapist for free – being his fist therapist.'
Chisora v Gerber features on a packed multi-title show on Saturday, September 21 in a venue which was popular during last summer's London Olympics.
Billy Joe Saunders against John Ryder for the British and Commonwealth middleweight title and Frankie Gavin versus David Barnes for the British and Commonwealth welterweight championship are the pick of the bouts on the undercard.
