He may have won seven titles but even Roger Federer is not above the strict Wimbledon dress code.
According to numerous reports, the Swiss master upset the bosses at SW19 by wearing orange-soled Nike trainers during his first-round match against Victor Hanescu.
The All England Championship rules state that during Wimbledon all players must wear 'almost entirely white' clothing and Federer's are believed to have overstepped the line.
Nike, who manufacture the trainers, launched them on Monday with their press release stating that Federer was "making a bold style statement."
It looks like they will only get 69 minutes of television time for the shoes though as Federer destroyed his Romanian opponent 6-3 6-2 6-0.
However, that seems to have been more than enough as Nike have already sold out of the limited edition shoes despite them retailing at $140 (£91).
Federer has managed to make such "bold style statements at Wimbledon" in the past without breaking the club's strict rules.
In 2006 he caused a stir by coming out on court wearing a cream blazer while his RF logo was also launched at the Championship.
Federer's contract with Nike is believe to be worth around $10m (£6.5 million a year).
