Harare church elder loses bible to self-confessed prostitute

A Bed hopping devout CHRISTIAN believed to be an elder at his church in Highfield reportedly lost his bible and pocket diary to a self-confessed prostitute after he failed to give her maternity fees. Gilbert Njuga, of Waterfalls, left his belonging to the commercial sex worker only identified as Anita.

During the scuffle, says Anita, the enraged Gilbert nearly ran over the 'pleasure engineer' with his vehicle as he wrestled for his bible, a King James Version. The incident took place at Fintra Court in Harare, where Gilbert was a regular 'client', attracting the attention of passers-by.

Narrating her ordeal, Anita said Gilbert had become a regular client to such a point that their relationship had blossomed into love and they had resorted to UNPROTECTED SEX!

"This old man asked for unprotected sex and I bowed to his demands. He however stopped visiting me after I fell pregnant. He took me to his personal doctor for medical examination where I was treated and I suspect that's where my pregnancy was terminated. Every time I call him, he promises that he is going to pay me for the damages I under went because of the pregnancy," she said.

Anita said she had a close shave with death the last time he came to Fintra Court.
"The last time he came here, he nearly took my life as he almost ran over me with his car (registration number ACG 4975) in front of my friends," she added.

Anita was still in possession of the text messages authored by Gilbert. One of the messages read: "Ndanga ndichidawo bhaibheri rangu. Chipo chandakapihwa nevana vandakasiyirwa nemukoma wangu on 7th April. Wish you speedy recovery kwandiri hakuna kana mari, ndaiwana ndichakutumira ko chii chadzimba?" sent on 18 March.

Another one read: "Plz sry I am in a church service, can I call u when I am done. In fact I would appreciate if u sms when u want 2 communicate God bless."

Contacted for comment, Gilbert ACKNOWLEDGED that his relationship with Anita was SEXUAL at one point and that his bible was still in her possession. What he disputed is deliberately leaving his BIBLE at this self proclaimed prostitute's place. He said Anita snatched the bible and pocket diary from his car after he refused to give her capital for starting a business.

"Please do not publish such rubbish like that because she is a hooker operating in the Avenues area at Fintra Court. That Lady snatched those items from my dashboard after I refused to give her capital to start a flea market. I think you better collect that Bible and my diary from her on my behalf claiming you need them as evidence before you publish the story. After taking them, please let me know so that I meet you and make a deal. I was given that Bible by my late brother's children on Father's Day and I do not think it would be fair if such a story is published. Did she tell you what I owe her or else you know each other because if you are from Hmetro, I know your bosses and that would cost you your job," said Gilbert.

"Actually, she phoned me today asking for money and I am now thinking to taking the issue to the police because she is now a nuisance in my life. Her real name is Eliza," said Gilbert Njuga whose statement showed that he really had an INTIMATE relationship with Anita to the extent of knowing her middle names!

To affirm that it was a special gift, the Bible addressed to Gilbert has the message: 'Happy Father's Day from Masanko, Ceasar, Lizzie and Mada."
