South African actress Florence Masebe has been left heartbroken and angry because the release date of the first Tshivenda film Elelwani, which she starred in and co-produced, has been pushed back for a second time.
A fuming Florence said that to add insult to injury, she only became aware of it on Twitter.
The film is based on the first ever Tshivenda novel, written in the early 1950s by Titus Maumela.
After finding out about the postponement, Masebe told her thousands of Twitter followers: "I am truly and properly devastated. Had to find out through a tweet that the film's release has been moved again."
The film was supposed to be released at cinemas next week but the distributor, Indigenous Films, announced on Twitter that the date had been moved to 31 January next year.
Florence said she had lost hope of it ever being released.
