Photographers threatened while trying to take photos of Samuel L Jackson in South Africa

Johannesburg - Photographers attempting to take photos of Samuel L Jackson on the set of his new movie Kite in Johannesburg have reportedly been threatened by production crew.
TimesLive reports that members of their team were told they would be removed from the area if photographs of the Hollywood star were taken.
According to TimesLive, Jackson, 64, was not in character at the time of the incident and seemed unfazed by the kerfuffle as he walked into a block of flats in Fox Street where filming has been taking place for the past two days.

Jackson is currently in South Africa to film Kite, a live-action adaptation of Yasuomi Umetsu's hit Japanese anime classic released in 1998.
The production of Kite was thrown into disarray in January when David R Ellis, the US stuntman-turned-director of Snakes on a Plane, was found dead in his Johannesburg hotel room just weeks before production was to begin.
Ellis has since been replaced by SA director Ralph Ziman (Jerusalema). The movie is co-produced by Videovision CEO Anant Singh.
Kite also stars teenagers India Eisley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Maleficent) and Callan McAuliffe (I Am Number Four, The Great Gatsby) and tells of a young woman named Sawa (Eisley) who tracks down her cop father's murderer with the help of his ex-partner, Karl Aker (Jackson).
Kite is set for release in 2014.
