Government has revealed that it is taking into consideration a suggestion to rotate on which civil service department gets its salary first.
Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Deputy Minister Tapiwa Matangaidze said Government would consider a suggestion that civil servants rotated on who got their salaries first in a question and answer session in parliament.
Musikavanhu MP Prosper Mutseyami (MDC-T) had asked why Government preferred to pay members of the military service first.
Matangaidze said it had been the tradition before the start of financial challenges affecting the Government that uniformed forces got paid first.
Matangaidze also revealed that government talks with civil servant union APEX were still underway, with dates of salaries expected to be announced tomorow (Friday).
