Police in Bulawayo have issued a warrant of arrest for a female fraudster who has duped two women of more than $17 000 in the pretext of having a business deal.
Abergailey Mpala of Hillside suburb allegedly scammed her victims by inviting them to partner with her on a tender she claimed to have won to supply a school with computers.
Mpala allegedly coned the first woman of $12 000, which she claimed would aid them buy the computers in South Africa.
The police spokesperson said Mpala tricked another woman who is member of a burial society from Emganwini suburb swindling her of $5,500 belonging to the burial society.
