An 18 year old man who fraudulently pretended to be Makandiwa's brother to con a church member of his car, has been ordered by court to bring evidence that he is indeed a Form three pupil at Mufakose 3 High School.
It is alleged that, John Dick, sent a message to a congregant, Shepard Sibanda, purporting to be to be Pastor Tawanda Makandiwa, young brother to United Family International Church founder and leader Prophet Mkandiwa.
In the text message, Sibanda was told that Prophet Makandiwa had sent him,Tawanda, to deliver a massage that God spoke to him in a vision and that ordered Sibanda to give his motor vehicle, a Nissan Blue Bird, as seeding to Pastor Tawanda so that he can be blessed.
The text alleged further instructed Sibanda to go to Joina City and give the motor vehicle to a man of God who shall be waiting there wearing blue shirt, grey trousers and black shoes
Sibanda told the matter to church security who in turn laid a trap resulting in the arrest of Tawanda.
Tawanda admitted to charges of fraud in court and sighted that he was in form 3.
Tawanda was ordered to bring a letter from the school on March 7 to confirm whether he is a pupil there or not.
