A hunter missed a moose and accidentally shot a man while he was sat on the toilet in his wooden cabin, police have said.
The Norwegian hunter took aim at the beast but missed, sending the bullet whizzing past it and through the wall of the nearby cabin on Thursday.
It hit the unsuspecting man square in his stomach while he was trying to relieve himself, the force told public broadcaster NRK.
The victim, in his 70s, was flown to hospital by helicopter but his injury was not life threatening, said Anders Stromsaether, in charge of the investigation
The hunter was taken in for questioning in Hvaler district, about 74 miles southeast of the capital of Oslo, said the force.
