A KwaMashu police officer, accused of raping one of his daughters and sexually assaulting another, will apply for bail in the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
The officer handed himself over to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate last Tuesday.
According to KwaZulu-Natal social development spokeswoman Ncumiza Fandesi, the girls - aged 16 and 15 - reported the matter.
They were taken to a place of safety, along with their nine-year-old sister.
The eldest daughter alleged her father began raping her in 2012.
The 15-year-old alleged she had been sexually assaulted since March.
