Aluwani Makungo (20) from Temong section, SA says she was on her way home last week when she was stopped by two men asking for directions.
She said "One of the men told me that I had trouble with my menstrual cycle, and I agreed that I had painful periods.
"He said people were bewitching me and he could show them to me in his mirror. We got into his car and he showed me a small mirror.
"He prayed and said he saw a laptop in his vision. He asked if I had one, and I said yes I did. Then he told me to bring my laptop to him so he could pray for it and prevent people from bewitching me.
"I got out of the car and walked home to fetch my laptop. The so-called prophet asked me to leave my laptop in the car and walk up the road and pick up a small stone and bring it to him. When I got back with a small stone, the car was gone."
Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha from the Tembisa police said: "Last year we received a number of complaints from residents who were robbed of cash and cellphones by these crooks. Anyone who has information can call CrimeStop on 08600 10111."
