50-year-old man asked to prove he is over 18 to buy whisky

A 50-year-old forklift driver was left bemused after checkout staff asked him to prove that he was over 18.
Father-of-three Charles Brown, from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, had gone into his local Morrisons to buy a bottle of whisky.
The youthful-looking dad had to contend with a member of staff on the tills as well as a manager due to not having any proof of age on his person.
Mr Brown, who turned 50 in July, managed to buy his booze in the end after convincing staff, at the supermarket branch in Elland, that he really was the age he said he was.
Many supermarkets and off licences use a 'Challenge 25' rule which means that staff have to ask for age ID from anyone that looks under 25.
While fed up with the constant IDing, Mr Brown said that he does, still, take it as a compliment: 'I take it as a compliment but it's getting a bit frustrating. I think they need to retrain their staff.
'I know I don't look my age but there's no way I'm 24,' he added.
Morrisons reiterated its adoption of the Challenge 25 policy and said that it takes its responsibility 'very seriously.'
'We hope Mr Brown took the request as a compliment as he must look very young for his age,' a spokesman said.
