A rich businessman has decided to bury his £310,000 Bentley in his back yard.
The Brazilian entrepreneur, known as Count Scarpa, is going through with the bizarre ritual in Sao Paulo because he wants to mimic the pharaohs of Egypt who took their riches with them when they died.
'I decided to do as the pharaohs: this week I will bury my favourite car, the Bentley here in the home garden! Bury my treasure in my palace rssss !!!', the enigmatic 62-year-old wrote on his Facebook page.
We're not quite sure why he is carrying out the 'service' for his car so early but he must really want to make sure it's there waiting for him on the other side.
Not surprisingly many people have found his decision strange.
Elijah tweeted: 'Count Scarpa is burying his greatest treasure - his new £310,000 Bentley convertible.. Jesus is Lord.'
Miss Samuell added: 'So this count scarpa is actually burying his Bentley convertible?#funny'
