A packed marijuana pipe has been found in a Burger King Kids Meal, bought for a four-year-old in Michigan, US.
The Huffington Post reports that the boy's grandfather called police when he found the drug paraphernalia which had been left there by a Burger King employee.
"He handed the meal to his four-year-old grandson, and when they opened it up they found a loaded marijuana pipe inside," Police Chief David Uhl told Toledo News Now.
The customer wrote down the registration number of a car full of youths he had spotted outside the restaurant and deemed "suspicious," according to Uhl.
Officers tracked down the car which was found to contain more marijuana.
Upon further questioning, a 23-year-old Burger King employee admitted that the pipe was his, and that he had placed it in the meal to hide it while working, according to the Monroe News.
In 2007 a similar situation arose at a McDonald's in Ottawa, where an employee attempted to hide marijuana, a pipe and a lighter in a Happy Meal which ended up in the hands of an eight-year-old.
