Cannibal admits to building dungeon to kidnap and eat children in

A man who built a dungeon where he planned to rape, kill and eat children has admitted begging a friend to catch a youngster for him.
Geoffrey Portway, a British citizen living in America, fitted the soundproof room with a child's coffin and a steel cage to keep his victims captive in.
Internet records revealed the 40-year-old – who used the online name Fat Longpig – had repeatedly urged fellow paedophile Michael Arnett to snatch a child.
Their chats were about real children who Arnett, of Roeland Park, Kansas, knew by name and showed Portway photos of, claiming he had access to them.
Although he is not thought to have eaten a child, would-be cannibal Portway – who traded 4,500 indecent images of children online – was involved in a community that exploited dozens of young victims.
About 160 children in seven countries have been rescued during a global investigation that started when images were discovered on Massachusetts man Robert Diduca's computer in 2010.
More than 50 people, including Portway, have since been arrested by police who went on the trail of the images.
The operation should serve as a warning to other paedophiles, United States attorney Carmen Ortiz said, as a statement confirming Portway's guilty plea was released.
'Even though criminals attempt to hide in the anonymity provided by the internet, the Department of Justice is committed to aggressively pursuing them to ensure that there is no place to hide,' she said.
The images traded by Portway included pictures of children who were apparently dead and being eaten.
Outside the dungeon beneath his home in Worcester, Massachusetts, were found large freezers, disposable scalpels, butchering kits and castration tools.
