Car left dangling over the edge as driver tries to dodge parking charges

One driver got more than he bargained for when he tried to dodge charges.
The driver apparently thought he could escape paying by parking at night while the multi-storey was being refurbished, with a sign stating it was not in use.
But after trying to drive out via the unmarked ramp the car was left dangling over the edge of an eight foot drop.
Having made a hasty retreat, the owner left the car to be discovered by staff the following morning during an inspection at the car park in Guangdong province, southern China.
Apparently too embarrassed to show his face, the car's owner instead sent his wife Lin Ju to collect the vehicle.
'She told us that because the ramp wasn't marked he thought it was a staff exit,' a manager explained.
'He ended up with his front wheels hanging off the edge.'
But that wasn't the end of the driver's ordeal.
The driver was also forced to pay for three whole days worth of parking – and for the cost of the crane used to get the car down.
He probably would have been better off just buying a ticket.
