Sarah Mabuela a domestic worker at Mandela's Houghton house, wants her husband Victor to move out of the house in Lombardy East, Johannesburg, because he's not contributing financially.

When Victor (40) and Sarah got married 13 years ago, they got a house as a wedding president from Nelson Mandela.

"She says I don't earn much from my job as a security guard, which is true. She drives a Toyota Yaris and pays for our son's university fees," he said.

But according to Sarah, Victor is abusive, he doesn't help around the house and cheats on her.

"The house was not his gift - it was mine," she said.

Victor, however, said the house was meant for both of them.

"When we got married in Hammanskraal, Tshwane in 2001, she was already working for Mandela. He was the one who advised us to get married so he could buy a house for us.

"The problems started when she wanted only her family to visit the house. When we fought about it, she would do things like getting me locked up over the weekend. I'm not abusive but she picks fights with me.

"Last weekend she had me arrested and I was released on Monday. I came home to find her packing my clothes into a cooler box and telling me to leave," said Victor.

Sarah said: "This man is abusive. He spends his money on his girlfriends. He embarrasses me by SMSing my colleagues that I'm a bi**h.

"I've put the house in my children's names. The arrangements for the house were made between Tata and me."
