Justin Bieber reached out to former president Bill Clinton on Wednesday, after a video of the teenage pop star surfaced online, showing him urinating in a restaurant mop bucket and later yelling
"F-k Bill Clinton!" as he exited a New York City night club.
"Thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President," Bieber tweeted Wednesday night. "Your words meant alot."
The singer spoke to Clinton, 66, earlier in the day, according to an E! News source, and apologised for his actions.
Instead of giving the 19-year-old kid a stern talking to, Clinton was gracious about the situation - the insider said.
His response was said to be along the lines of "If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well."
Obviously, Clinton knows a thing or two about damage control.
In the end, the fallout from his uncleanly display, and the conversation with the seasoned politician moved young Bieber to tweeting wisdom.
"In life u will make mistakes and people will try and tear u down," he wrote.
"But u gotta stay positive. Stay strong…and learn to be better…and always live to serve others and The Lord."
