In confirming the news after the match, which had been circulating over the weekend, Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa said: "This match was my last league match at Dynamos.
"My contract is expiring on December 31 and I will not renew it. It's a personal decision and I had told my close associates way before this match that with or without the league title, I was not renewing the contract.
"I'm not leaving because of the national team job, but I'm saying maybe I need to take a rest. If there is any job offer that might come, I will have to see if the opportunity is worthwhile but, at the moment, I'm taking a break," said the 44 year old.
Dynamos chairman Kenny Mubaiwa said he was surprised by the decision of the coach.
"We are yet to sit and review the season, so this is a surprise. I am hearing it from you. So he told you guys (media) after the match?" Mubaiwa asked this reporter.
Great Khali will however lead Dynamos to the Mbada Cup before he officially leaves.
