Dynamos 4 - 1 Black Mambas
RODERICK Mutuma scored a brace, his first this season as Dynamos bounced back to winning ways when they got the better of Black Mambas in a Castle Lager Premiership clash at Rufaro Stadium yesterday.

Dynamos had gone for three matches without a win losing to Motor Action and Hwange in the Independence Trophy semis and third place play-off respectively. They also lost the league match 1-0 league to Monomotapa.

But yesterday they put all this behind them with goals from Denver Mukamba sixth minute, Mutuma 14th and 90th minute and Takesure Chinyama with a 66th minute goal.

The police side got the face saver through a Kasimero Chimbadzwa penalty in the 55th minute when the scoreline was still 2-1 but the Harare giants quickly regrouped and extended their lead.

Mukamba who also broke his goal duck yesterday opened the scoring sheet early in the game when he received a good square pass from Chinyama and the lanky midfielder had the easy task of slotting into the nets.

Giant striker Chinyama turned provider again minutes later, when he did some fancy footwork on the flank leaving defender Ben Nyahunzvi for dead and chipped to Mutuma who made sure and headed home.

After the breather, the police side which has roped in Moses "Bambo" Chunga as the head of the technical team who watched from the terraces yesterday, regrouped and were threatening the hosts and it quickly paid off for them as former Dynamos star Nicholas Alifandika was brought down in the box by David Kutyauripo and the referee Pedzisai Chadya pointed to the spot.

The Mambas defender converted the penalty directing his shot to the left with Dynamos goalkeeper Washington Arubi diving the opposite direction.

As Black Mambas were looking for an equaliser, the Glamour Boys got the assurance of maximum points when Chinyama got his fourth league goal, and ninth in all competitions this season when he benefited from a blunder by Chimbadzwa and beat the advancing goalkeeper Learmore Jere.

Mutuma then completed his brace, when on the stroke of full time his header deflected off defender Nyahunzvi.

It appears the players have now discarded the Zora Butter dance for a new ritual where they rush to the bench and mob their coach in celebration.
