Gwanda- Parents and school children at Ntalala primary school have demanded their money back after it was revealed that the Headmaster has been converting the school funds to his own use.
An audit conducted at the school revealed that $6995 and R 2080 were found missing from the school coffers.
Retabile Moyo, a parent who has a child going to the school revealed to a local publication that the head had promise to reimburse the money.
"Our community leaders wrote a letter to the head, giving him an ultimatum to return the money within 10 days but he has so far not replied, if he fails to do so we are taking the case to the courts," revealed Moyo
Umthunywa contacted, Tumisang Thabela, Matebeland South Provincial education officer who confimed that auditors had been dispatched at the school, but sighted that they had not compiled the complete report.
