Popular musician, Jah Prayzah is making final preparations to release his seventh album, Mudhara Vachauya, in August.
The artist who is riding high on the success of his sixth, Jerusarema which carries hit tracks, Eriza and Chinamira, will immediately embark on a national tour where he will share the new production with fans.
After the Harare launch on August 12, Jah Prayzah will perform in Kwekwe and Gweru before travelling to Bulawayo.
The new album will have 10 tracks, six which are already complete including the title track- Mudhara Vachauya, Hossana, Seke Mutema and Goto, songs which he is already performing at some of his gigs.
His manager, Keen Mushapaidze said it was entirely up to fans to interpret the album’s name.
He however said the song Mudhara Vachauya, like Halo off his current album would have a different feel.
Questioned if the new album would feature other artistes, Mushapaidze said they had gone solo though hinting they were up for collaborations.
On music videos for the album, Mushapaidze said they would probably be recorded later in the year for release early next year.
Once complete, the videos will be sent to international entertainment channels, Zambezi Magic and Channel O among others for airplay.
It remains to be seen how much Mudhara Vachauya will fetch on its launch day after business mogul, Philip Chiyangwa pledged two stands valued at $27,000 for Jerusarema at a launch held at the Harare International Conference Centre last year for his sixth project.
Jah Prayzah may however want to look for a bigger venue when he launches his album in Bulawayo as fans have shown him that he is way bigger than the Amphitheatre, his base in the city. All the times he has performed there, he has filled the place with some fans having to follow proceedings from outside the venue.
