Sales of the Tupac's back catalogue have shot up after he appeared as a hologram during Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Coachella performance earlier this month.
According to The Sun Sales of his Greatest Hits album were up by 571 per cent to 4,000 copies, while the tune he "performed", Hail Mary, sold 13,000 downloads last week, a 1,530 per cent rise.
According to Billboard, sales of the rapper's posthumous 'Greatest Hits' album are up by 571 per cent alongside sales increases of 95 per cent for his 'All Eyez On Me' album and 53 per cent for 'Me Against The World' LP.
The hologram of the deceased rapper performed two songs, 'Hail Mary', which saw a sales increase of 1,531 per cent, and '2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted', which had an 881 per cent sales spike.
There had been reports that Dr Dre was planning to take the hologram, which you can see take to the festival's main stage by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking, out on tour. However, the producer has since played down these reports and said that the hologram was simply created for Coachella.
