WARRIORS’ gaffer Kalisto Pasuwa has finally signed a contract with Zifa.
According to a local tabloid, the ex-Dembare gaffer penned a two year performance based contract. Zim Metro Sports understands that Zifa sponsor Wickenell Chivhayo will be responsible for Pasuwa’s salaries for the next 24 months.
Pasuwa will receive a vehicle of his own, fuel and office amongst other benefits. Following dismally failure in the just ended CHAN Tournament, Pasuwa’s contract negotiations were halted and one of the contentious issues was that ZIFA wanted a CHAN victory.
The Association was also rejecting the coach’s salary demand of $7 000 per monthly, arguing it was too exorbitant for their coffers.
