'Super' moves to How Mine
FORMER Highlanders captain and assistant coach Bekithemba "Super" Ndlovu yesterday began his official duties as How Mine assistant coach by taking the team through their training session ahead of the arrival of head coach Kelvin Kaindu.
Kaindu was in Triangle yesterday clearing his issues with the authorities. The Zambian, it has since emerged, gave the Sugarcane growers a three months’ notice from November last year and has since served two months, meaning he will now buy out the remaining one month.
Efforts to get comment from the gold miners' chairman Paul Mac Andrew on the latest developments were fruitless but sources confirmed that Ndlovu, who was head coach at the Zifa Southern Region Division One side, Indlovu Iyanyathela last season, took the boys through their paces.
Some players who spoke to Chronicle Sport also confirmed that Ndlovu was in charge of their session yesterday.
