Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones, 56, has been in a secret affair with a stunning netball star, The Sun reported.
He met 30-year-old Sara-Louise Hale two years ago and launched into the romance behind the back of his loyal wife Ann.
Ann, 57, publicly stood by him in 1999 when he was subjected to false child sex allegations.
But grim-faced Jones’s affair hit the buffers after she got wind of it and confronted them.
Horrified Ann tailed her soccer manager hubby after learning of his fling with pretty Sara-Louise.
And when she arrived at her love rival’s fourth-floor flat in central Cardiff, South Wales, she left the pair in no doubt how she felt.
A friend of Sara — a Welsh netball international who plays for the Celtic Dragons club — said: “Sara was so shocked.
“Ann Jones turned up out of the blue at her apartment while Dave was there.
“It was a couple of Saturdays ago and she confronted Sara in her own home. It wasn’t a pleasant conversation for all concerned.”
Sheffield Wednesday boss Jones — a dad of four who successfully fought false child sex allegations several years ago — began the secret affair after meeting Sara at a sports award ceremony.
A Sun source said: “Dave and Sara-Louise are no longer together.”
Sara, also an Academy Coach at the Sport Wales National Centre, told The Sun: “I’ve got sick of it all now — particularly the way things have been going the last couple of weeks with his family and everything.'
Jones, whose Wednesday side lie 19th in the Championship table, declined to comment.
