Zimbabwean Ministers have come out guns blazing to silence critics on the success of the wave of protests and mass stay-aways that hit the country last week.
Home Affairs Minister Dr Ignatius Chombo in a statement last night blasted Zimbabweans living in the diaspora for joining in the mass protests sighting that they are being used by "agents of regime change."
Chombo went on to denounce the protests that happened in the United Kingdom leading to the embarrassment of Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa who had been sent with a begging bowl to Europe.
Chombo also denounced videos circulating on social media, claiming that they were only burn on creating social unrest in Zimbabwe.
The home affairs minister said the security situation in the country remained calm and peaceful, siting that the country's security personnel will quash any attempts of causing civil unrest.
Chombo's sentiments come after government has been silent after mass protests from #ThisFlag Campaign and pressure group Tajamuka to resolve societal problems affecting locals.
