A two-year-old boy has miraculously survived falling on to a pair of scissors that pierced his eye socket.
Wang Jierong, from western China, was running around his home with the scissors he found on a table before he tripped over and embedded them just above his left eye,
The little boy was taken to Lanzhou University Hospital in Wushan County where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove the scissors.
On August 2nd, doctors in Lanzhou University Hospital said Wang Jierong is out of danger.
Doctors said as the dirty scissors may cause other complications, the boy is still under close observation, but "he should be no problem now.
Jieronghas been under close observation since the incident on July 31 and doctors say 'he should be no problem now'.
