A 38-year-old Cape Town art teacher has appeared in court for allegedly being in possession of 120 cannabis plants, the Cape Argus reported on Friday.
The Gugulethu Cape College teacher, Graeme Carr, appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court on Thursday and was told to return to court on 6 August.
Carr was granted R3 000 bail. He faces a charge of dealing in dagga or alternatively, the illegal possession of drugs.
The State alleges he was found with 120 dagga plants, 10 seedlings and a box containing dagga at his Kenilworth home in March. He reportedly intended pleading not guilty to the charges.
