News update:
Zimbabwean man on the run in SA after killing wife & her sister Manqoba, who went missing with his father after the double killing of his mother and her sister has been found alive and safe.
It appears Sibusiso Khumalo, 29, the man who is suspected of the killings, took Manqoba to his uncle in Honeydew, and the man passed him on to Sibusiso’s sister in Yeoville.
She didn’t know why she had been asked to look after the boy – until she saw pictures in the Daily Sun.
Then she immediately took the boy to Yeoville Police Station and the boy was reunited with his mother’s uncle, Nicholus Mncube, and his one-year-old sister Phumzile, who also survived the shooting.
Sibusiso is still on the run and is believed to have fled to Zimbabwe after the shooting of his wife Nonkondzo Mncube and her sister, Londela Zondi.
Sibusiso’s car, a white Golf 4, was found dumped in Honeydew last Tuesday with his wife’s cellphone.
Witnesses said Sibusiso was picked up by another car.
Mncube told Daily Sun: “Since coming home, Manqoba hasn’t stopped talking about his mother’s shooting. I think it has affected him badly.”
