A woman from Emantanjeni village in Mbembesi is regretting the time she agreed for witch hunters to burn her snake last year.
Nombulelo Hadebe’s snake was killed and burnt by Tsikamutandas last year in October.
She revealed to a local publication that she feared that her ancestors might kill her for failing to prevent the death of the snake.
Hadebe claimed that ever since the snake was killed, she started having problems in her marriage. As if that isn’t enough, she revealed that her children in the diaspora are no longer supporting her.
The village head, Thobela Mpengesi confirmed that ever since the snake was burnt, Hadebe’s world has been crumbling.
