Nelson Mandela's daughter Zindzi Mandela and Molapo Motlhajwa have decided to wait for their wedding celebration.
Sunday Sun reported that Zindzi was supposed to celebrate getting hitched to the soldier at a military base in Pretoria but she has decided to wait for her dad's health to improve.
Earlier this year, Zindzi had a civil wedding reception at Ikageng Township, in North West.
She and her soldier from Ikageng Extension 3 signed at the magistrate's court, then attended a celebratory lunch in a fancy white marquee.
This week, sources said Zindzi loves her dad dearly and there's no way she would get married while he is still sick – and there is a controversy surrounding her family.
Plans for the postponed celebration included Zindzi making her arrival at a military base by helicopter.
But now there will be no big military-style party until further notice.
If Mandela's health improves and all the Mandela family dramas are sorted out, then it could be on again.
Earlier this year, during Zindzi's sudden marriage at Ikageng, her mum Winnie Madikizela-Mandela didn't attend – as it was envisaged that the main wedding would be this month.
The new man in Zindzi's life works for the SA National Defence Force.
Molapo is one of the many soldiers who were suspended after a strike at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Some sources say Molapo often brags about being a Mandela.
But other sources say Zindzi is in love and happy and the couple has been keeping a low profile.
They are expected to leave South Africa soon, when Zindzi starts her new job as a diplomat.
