TV Pastor Paseka Motsoenenga also known as Prophet Mboro appeared in a packed Vereeniging Magistrates Court on Tuesday 2 July.
His trial on charges of pointing a firearm is expected to end next Wednesday.
While Motsoeneng faced justice, members of his Incredible Happenings Ministry sang hymns outside court.
Mboro allegedly pointed a firearm at Thetha FM presenters at the station's studios in Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg, last February.
Witnesses Thabo Mokone, Dibuseng Phalwane, Chaka Mokoena and Tumelo Mofokeng have testified.
Cops kept an eye on Mboro's supporters as they sang outside Leslie Street.
Bodyguards kept watch as he spoke to supporters during lunch break.
Mboro said: "We speak peace in the Vaal. I have the right to walk anywhere in this country. Nobody owns the Vaal."
He had harsh words for Thetha FM presenters.
"They made a DVD saying they'd see Satanism, but all they did was to make money for themselves."
