…As Pro-democracy Activists Prepare To Toyi-Toyi In HarareAS President Robert Mugabe battles to mend the widening cracks in his warring Zanu-PF, including his stunning fall-out with restless war veterans, the nonagenarian faces a major new headache in the form of planned massive demonstrations in Harare tomorrow by pro-democracy activists, toyi-toying against imminent introduction of bond notes.
A member of pressure group Tajamuka Slyvanos Mudzvova said yesterday that the pending introduction of the much criticised bond notes would be resisted robustly, going on to describe the notes as bond paper which is not money.
Former vice president and ZimPF interim president has also taken Mugabe’s government to task demanding it to revoke the plan to introduce bond notes.
Mujuru has decided to his former allies in the High Court in addition to another recent lawsuit that takes issue with the government’s recent ill-advised ban on the importation of basic consumer goods.
